Our Mission

     Ruth's mission is to ensure that our Sisters are happy and willing to assist with making this a functioning and committed chapter. To attempt to make those less fortunate feel a little less alone through feeding, conversation or kind gestures. Our mission within the OES is to make others see that unselfish acts CAN contribute to bringing about joy and peace in this world. To allow others to see that doing good is its own reward. Our Chapters phrase/motto is “We Family Over Here”.  

Our History

     Ruth Chapter #4, OES-IL has been established to be a beacon of peace, joy, strength, love and charity towards one another as we cultivate the same in willing, trusted and enthused individuals. Together, our journey towards fulfillment of true friendship and benevolence will be achieved through worthwhile charitable endeavors and inclusion of valued benefactors. Our true essence to bring about positive change through service shall continue and be our guiding force. 

Our Goal

     Ruth Chapter is here to be of service to our Sisters and Brothers, so that we, together, make this world less harsh and cold. Ruther Chapter is here as a symbol of what God can do for those that put Him first. Ruthe Chapter is here because we said we would be and now you cannot get rid of us. We got here through hard work, dedication, and steadfast concern. We got here because of with our character and commitment. Ruth Chapter got here because we deserve to be here and we look good in our white.
